However, with summer coming, the temperatures will be soaring into the 110-120* range, and that means interior temperatures of over 180*. That's where the WeatherTech vent shades come in. These allow you to leave your windows open a couple inches and let the heat out, without worrying about someone reaching in, or rain, or birds, or whatever else you want to keep out.
We'd been wanting a set for a while, so we hit up our friends at AutoAnything and placed an order. Three days later, they're delivered and ready to install.
They're super-easy to install - Here's Project Frontier before I started:

The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Make SURE the front edge of the shade sets on the outside of the window ledge, otherwise you'll have to pull it off and reinstall. It helps to have a helper to hold this area (I didn't, and it was fine).
Total time? Maybe 20 minutes, including cleaning the window glass and the inside of the window channel.

The other real benefit of these? Have you ever rolled down one window and had that annoying "buffeting" of the wind that makes you feel like you're going to blow an eardrum? Well, these redirect the airflow around the window just enough to prevent that. On those days where you just want some fresh air, but you don't want the windows all the way down, this is perfect.
After the installation:

Now, she needs a BATH!
All in all, a quick, simple project that'll really enhance your enjoyment of your truck. Hit up our friends at AutoAnything and tell them you're from NICOclub... Have fun!
