So I just installed my sr into my s13. Engine and transmission all bolted up. Everything is hooked up as far as I know.. I bought the engine harness and lower harness from wiring specialties. Hooked up three battery and went to start it, nothing at all. Headlights work, dash lights work. But I don't hear the fuel pump cycle, hazards don't work, turn signals don't work. It has an spl computer brain ecu. what could be the problem? How do i find out if the ecu had power to it? Or if it even works

hey do u happen to have a meter this would help u track problems down quicker.also check the fuses in the relay box specially the alt fuse i swapped a dohc ka in a sohc shell and had a problem with that.also your grounds to engine and chassy.also do u have a stock ecu just to get it going? cuz there will be a red light on if its getting power.aso are u sure the fuse box is getting power usually the big white wire going to it needs to have power .idk wat to give u help to but ill check back if i can think of anything

Unfortunately I don't have as meter nor a stock sr ecu. I've connected all the necessary grounds tha wires to the engine and the engine bay. The light red light in the ecu did not turn on :/

Sounds like a wiring issue.
You need a AMP meter. First i'd see if your getting power to your fuel pump.
Was the car automatic first?

Did you ever figure it out?

This is exactly what is going on with my twin cam swap. Aside from the fuel pump issue.
You should hear the pump cycle when key is turned to the "on" position.

Also +1 on getting like a digital multimeter. You can get a pretty decent one for around $20. It'll be one of your best investments lol.

I iinvested in a multimeter :) turns out the ecu was fried! bought another one.. Fuel Pump now cycles and it cranks over but still won't start.. I'm getting there tho! I think the cas is out of time
