Hi folks, i installed a peakboost manifold over the weekend, and now the turbo sits about an inch too high and the bonnet wont close, i have nismo motor and transmission mounts. Can anyone give any suggestions what i can do to fix this issue. Im running a master power 50 trim turbo.

Me too lol. It turns out my nismo mounts raised my engine too high, so im switching back to stock mounts and maybe spacers to get he clearance i need.

Cut hole in hood so that turbo peeks out - problem solved :)

notch the skeleton on the bottom of the hood accordingly.

Lowered the engine by cutting down some poly mounts

Either that or get different mounts. There's a guy on Zilvia that makes and sells his own mounts for cheap. He is getting great reviews, might be worth checking out.

you could prop up the back of the hood a bit to get it to clear temporarily. (or just leave it because imo it looks cool) :bigthumb:

Nothing wrong with a year old thread, info is info. I bought some circuit sport mounts and cut about 3/4 inch out of them. Eventually im going to have a custom built manifold and run the drift freq mounts i bought recently
