Cliff notes: Which side does the sensor opening face?


When I was taking the intake apart, I noted that the yellow wire was on the outside but when I had to take the sensor off the wires, I didn't note which direction was which. When I put it back together, I was a bit rushed and just assumed the side with the opening is the side that faces the incoming air. On my test drive, above 3k rpm's its way too loud, so I think I'm running too rich or something.
