Heres 2 pics of the install that i rate a 10.A 10 for being a pain in the arse, costing me plenty of cuts and cursing my stipid car. Anybody know what brand headers these might be?---------------------------------------------

looks like pacesetters from the 4 to 1 design, the black chipping paint, and the badly positioned o2 sensor.

no, distance is fine, ideally however, the bung (where the sens. connects) should be placed at the collector (that weird looking end you talk about) because that way, it has a reading of all 4 cylinders and not just that one.

About the bolting of the thing....i'd assume it'd just work as a bolt on, but I don't know now.

I need to get a handle on the rust invading my engine compartment tho...There will never be a time im not working on this car for SOME reason. Chalk it up to a 11 year old car.

Edit: what i mean is that weird round end is larger than the diameter pipe used normally in the stock system. Do i put the pipe inside the round bulb or what?!? Its confusing.

Hmm if the pipe goes inisde the round bulb thing I dont think you can bolt it to holes....

Closer pic maybe?

you need the other half of that type of connector. it allows the exhaust to move, kinda like a ball and socket joint.

what the heck is up with that bulb?

well they're better than stock. as long as it doesnt leak pat yourself on the back for a job well done.

get a good wire brush and a bottle of rust convertor asap and kill any rot. doesnt look too bad from what i can see.

Dude... holy crap.. your sig is HUGE

How's aboot taking it from a 650kb png to a >200KB jpeg??

Ok back to subject..

Is it just me or does the header piping look small??

Recommendation: Fill your brake fluid 'cause you're low! :)

I dont think that's on the low level... It's somewhere between low and high.. probably more towards high

The bulb is suppose to go to a cupped end I think... or just a larger pipe that should fit halfway onto the ball. It's there to allow for some movement with the exhaust system, since they didn't expect everything to line up correctly ;)

For sure it is Pacesetter cause no one can make a headers that bad...I know I bought one return it within 2hrs. Bought myself a Hotshot. And that's the different between 350$ vs 650$ CAD.

Not to start anything, but 2BN_S13 I have seen several posts, I think some of my own, where you're a total a$$ for no reason at all.

Yeah, ive tried to make amends for that, so again sorry for snapping. Ive got job problems and stuff. But i didnt take what fuzion and black s13 said personally, i was joking about "wheres the headers" and that it was cute.I reacted to Northern240 saying these headers are crap, because i believe they are very sturdy, and the O2 bung can always be relocated.

I think, however, that i am going to cut off the ball end and have the same shop weld a bracket to the end of the tube and make a filler piece for the rest.

lol....don't worry the problem is simple... header is singular and found in inline cars (only 1 exhaust system) Headers stand for plural (v configuration engines have 2 of those systems).

Don't get me wrong 2BN_S13, I am saying that the quality behind this header is not exactly the best compare to others header. Beside for me to install the pacesetter on my car. It would never be done. Wish i didn't throw out those pics of the header in the car. Anyway it was a nightmare nothing fit where they supposed to fit, maybe I got a bad one, who knows but I like the hotshot..
