Indeed. The install was so easy, even *I* couldn't screw it up.

And they work great. Two days after I installed mine, I ran my hand truck across the top of the bumper on accident. It saved me from having one big ol nasty scratch there.

I also installed one of these right after EV. I don't know why they don't just make this thing standard (or at least an option) and put the $40 onto the sticker. It's great!

West Covina Nissan put mine on last Oct. 5th. The protector had just hit the marketplace; Scott at WCN knew I was waiting for it. He gave me a call as soon as it hit his parts catalogue. As the first customer for it they gave me a discount on the price plus free installation. Impressive customer service and the bumper protector is well worth putting on.

Last time I was at the dealership for an oil change, they had a red '08 S with the sport package and fogs. It looked pretty good. It was the first red V and the first S model that I had seen with the sport package. If it's still there when I'm in for my next oil change in 2 weeks, I'll take some pics.

The tint is 35% per Tennessee state law.

Yeah, it was at quality. But it was a good 3 weeks ago that I saw it, so it might not be on their lot anymore. Kinda bummed me out, too, because it was like 2K less than what I paid for mine, but that's because it was an S with the 6 speed manual.

Where do you get these rubber, bumper protectors (dealer, online)? I somehow got an abrasion in this area lugging out luggage or something.

They are available from both the local Nissan dealer and from some dealers online as well. I paid around $30 for mine from my local Nissan Parts counter.

If you don't have a dealership close or they want too much money, order one from west covina nissan's website at thenismoshop.com. It's $27.60 plus shipping. Here's a link directly to the product:

BTW, they're more of a plastic material and not really rubber, but they're still very effective and definately worth having.
