Installation of new hood pop cable??

Ok the body shop cut the hood cable when fixing my car i was wonderin how much are they and were i can get one.... and how hard r they to install??

im sure that it will be a dealer-specific item, and if it were me i would just run it up through the tube after removing the old one, or if possible, attach the new one to the old one with a piece of string and use it to pull the new one through (second one would be best if possible)
