Installation of New head unit

Sorry guys im new to this forum, and im curious as to wether anyone has a guide to installing a new head unit for my vers. I drive a '07 SL and was wondering about how to go about replacing the stock unit. The one in there now has a 6 cd changer and was wondering what is the best course of action in replacing this unit. Like i said im new so i dont know if there already is a post on this topic. Any help would be appreciated. BTW new head unit is a Sony Xplod, not sure if this matters but just trying to inform the person helping me. Thanks again.
