Installation of HID lights.....

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Does anyone know how hard is it to change the head lights and fog lights to the HID's?

All your help is greatly appreciated?

Thanks.

Was it hard to install these units? What did you have to remove on the car to get to the fog lights and head lights? How long did the install take you?

not hard at all. for an amateur installer it would take 3 hours at the most.but these car is a pain to install these. you ahve to remove the front wheels remove the wheelwell then install the kits then put everything back together

note wen you install the wheels back in make sure you tighten the nuts to 80pft

you need to remove the front wheels to access the low beams and fogs. so either way you have to remove them i know its a pain. you can maybe do the low beams without removing the tires only if u have small hands you might be able to reach.

Thanks man. Good eye. I will look first then maybe buy this kit. I dont have a stand for the car. I do have a jack, but hate to use it. I dont want to ask anyone to install these lights, I dont want to pay $500 for the installtion. Dang.

no stand is required i did mine one wheel at a time with a jack. put cement blocks to keep your car from rolling away as well as making sure your parking brake is on

by the way i forgot to mention. not that it matters but H11 and H8 are the same size the only difference is the connector. so if u cant get H8 (it is rare) then you can just get two H11
