Installation of Air Intake

Hey guys, just wondering what some of you have done with the air intake scoop after installing maybe the Fujita or the Injen WAI? Do you guys leave it on or take it off? Also is one better than the other?

Some have left it on, some take it off (i took it off to make the engine bay look cleaner).

I also have a fujita.

I've personally taken off the scoop, pipe, and the guard that traverses the radiator. The more open the better.
