have 02 spec v and wanting to install short shifter on my own. does anyone have some tips? please help

It should come with instructions. What brand is it?

Specs have a cable shifter, so it should be all from the top.

It is a Megan Racing short shifer.. It looks pretty stright forward but didn't know if i needed to go from underneath the car or just from center console

Center console only. Lucky you, mine was underneath.
