i was going to do this myself but i have no idea where to start at this point. I took the back carpet looking stuff off in the trunk and tried to go that way and i can take the speakers off but that black thing stays. do the 6x9s use that back thing to connect to? or strait to the metal? and does anyone have pics on how to get to the front of all of that?

i always appreciate everyones help

I honestly don't remember if I left the black plastic mounting piece on there. I'm pretty sure I did, but I'll have to check my car next time I get the chance.

What are you trying to get to the front of? Guess I'm a bit confused about this question.

Yeah, but you have to take out some interior pieces. To do this, you need to remove some of the side trim before removing the rear deck finisher. It's not that tough to do, but it would help to have the service manual to check out.

The service manual, not the owners manual, will explain how to take the entire car apart. It basically points out where the clips are and what order to remove panels. Definitely worth locating. It's been a life saver to me.
