Install nismo cams

alright...

im about to order the nismo cams for my 98...question is this...do i need anything else for the install? i hear talk of new shims etc etc...im not having them regrinded, just droppin in...thanks for any info...

No shims needed. Make sure you mark your timing chain and sprockets so you don't mess up your cam timing. Other than that all you have to do is loosen the cam towers pop out the stock cams, grease the new ones, and tighten the cam towers.

You MIGHT need shims. Every motor has different tolerances, mine were all off a little when installing S13 cams. I only had to reshim 3, but that's not a gaurantee. Most people don't even bother with it.

ur right, any vtec automobile...excluding the nsx, do the new ones have vtec by the way?
