Its really easy. on your subframe there are two bolts held with nuts on the opposite end. remove both bolts and post up the bar then match the holes in your subframe with the ends on the barput the longer bolts inand your donelemme know if you need any specifics I'll go look under my car

Don't bother. YOu don't need a lower tie bar unless you've exhausted other far more effective means fo improving your car. period.

Thats true. But I got it for only 15 bucks. I mean, who cares I'll just put it on. I'm not looking to get performance out of this thing. And yes I already know that it almost does nothing. But i'll do it anyway.

Oh and 240sx jeff, did you have to jack up the car? or just take out the nut>

my car is lowered so i had to jack it up, but I was also putting in subframe spacers so I just left the car jacked up. but if your car is stock height you should not need to jack it up unless of course you don't fit under there. My opinion: just jack it up so you have extra room to work with

And in addition to Exar-Kun's statement it really does not do a damn thing to your car, I only put it on because I got it for free and mine is a cool titanium color

J/W also, how do you install the rear upper strut bar? Do you have to cut a hole in the speaker cover?

No. My hatch has strut tower covers that you can remove to access the top of the struts. If you get an ebay strut bar, you'll probably have to cut stuff though.

And don't install that tie bar. It's just added weight doing nothing.

Well i'll install it anyway who cares. and also my car is a 95. so it's obvious it's different. unless you have a hatch 95, then i don't know what car you have....j/k

yeah you usually have to cut the inside trim of the trunk if you are putting it in a S14. Thats probally the major reason why I dont like them to much; unless my interior was $hit anyway, then I wouldnt care. Good luck with your install
