My driver side automatic seatbelt motor isnt working. I just worked on it and was trying to get it to work, i got it to come off when opening the door but it doesnt go back (when you close the door) is their a way for me to unlock it so i can move it back manually and unplug it? (Inspection coming up and need it to at least come back)

You can take it to a nissan dealer and they fix it for FREE....Its a mandatory safety feature, so when it brakes there liable.

You positive they fix it for free? I dont think they would fix a '91 free. If anyone has a way to fix it though that would be appreciated.

My car came with a lifetime warranty on seatbelts, so it is entirely possible yours did too.

The warranty should be implied with having the car, it's a mandatory safety feature that you could sue nissan if it failed during a crash...

I wish the dealers would look at it that way but they're still making it difficult. Wish i could live in PA near your rothrock dealer :/.

you can always hit up our sponsors like Midway Parts or Pinnacle Nissan. I've been getting parts from Midway for a while and they've yet to disappoint (well aside from when Nissan discontinues parts and no one can get them...).
