Insignia Model NS-C3111 car radio CD MP3 Player

I Installed this unit on my 1994 Nissan D21 4 speaker.The display lights up and that is it. The instructions said to push the reset button ( located on the radio beneath the face plate) to reset to factory settings. I tried that and still nothing happens. I tried to insert a CD into the player and it won't accept it. Pressing the power button will not turn off the stereo. I have the red ignition wire coming from the radio to the geen/white wire to the truck radio wiring harness( http://www.phatg20.com). Any ideas? Thanks!

Well, it's Insignia, which is a brand I'd avoid like the plague. They're cheap and unreliable.
