Inside Handle Bowls

Im trying to think of last minute christmas gift ideas, I came across these and they looked pretty cool but I dont know if they will fit my 2006 M35

Also taking other christmas gift suggestions to add to my list

They look almost identical to the ones in my M37:



and installed:



Not exactly sure if they fit the M35/45, my guess if they're not an exact match, they could be modded to fit without too much trouble - it's only a thin layer of aluminum.
Plus, IIRC I bought mine from Aliexpress.com for about $25, shipped from China, but stated they were for the Q50, QX60, Q70L, and JX35:

I also added some additional 3m adhesive tape to the middle portion of the overlay, just to make sure it didn't wiggle loose or rattle.

The size of the m37/m56 panel might be close to the m35/m45 but the shape and dimensions are very different. It might take major work to fit.

Currently I can't think of what other cars shared that escutcheon with the y50, but when I get to a computer I can check by part number.

Ed is right, very different shape for the Y50 (M35/45) -my internet search didn't come up with any inside door handle bowls for this model, only for the Q50/Q70/QX60...

only $598.00!! (again, the Y50 models got short changed - my front door handles light up from behind when I approach the car, my M45 didn't have that feature )

Just a thought. Since those bowls are not compatible with the older Ms .... why not just remove the plastic bowl and cover it with 3M vinyl? They won't have the Inifiti logo, but that logo is already in plenty of places and you could use any design you like from carbon fibre to wood grain, to any color you choose.

That is a good idea larz, probably much cheaper too. I dont know what Ill do yet. I havnt even seen these before, does anyone know if they're brand new to being made or have been out in the market for a while now?
