buick grand national with a twin turbo 394ci v8. Put out 1000hp before he smoked the tires completely on the dyno. Looks stock except for the two huge turbos sticking out of the hood and the exhaust exiting out of the front fender.

wow looks kinda like the car my dads friend was building for his brother... he brought the car in and told him "make it so the front wheels come off the ground when i launch".. so he built it to do just that...

Is that car drivable in the rain? Would water get in the turbo?

Some people have more than one car, bro! I'd go so far as to say that the car doesn't see too much street time...although it would be quite a looker...

I about bought a Gran National with major work done on it, but my dad said it was too much car, and it really really was. We drove it and about lost it a couple times.....thing was insane. Had an LSD though :D

Yes, water would indeed get blown through the engine, so no, it would not be drivable in the rain. My question would be, who in their right mind would drive a 1000hp car in the rain anyway???? ;)

That's pretty sweet, but the fact that it's a v8 kinda kills it for me. I guess I'm more of a purist when it comes to Turbo Buicks. It's all about the power from the buzzin' half dozen, not from a v8. Taken as just a car though, it's cool. What does it run in the quarter?

BTW, that does not appear to be a GNX. Anyone that would do that to a GNX should be shot...

AMEN REPO , 3.8 FOREVER

has anyone outside that guy that worked for menards put the indy 3.8 in a regal ? 900 hp 3.8 running on 45 psi of boost would be beatter than that v8 , a good project for a wayward t-type

too many viewings of that fast and furios movie

a real hotrod doesnt have a noise making blow off valve ,it has a blow off valve with a 10 foot tube on the exaust end of it and a blow up doll on the other end of the tube from the blow off valve , every time you shift her assets get bigger

I dunno about the turbo placment on that, kinda looks like who ever made the headers for this guy wasn't all that good at math. If it was done on purpose then I think that we may have discovered a new form of rice (very fast powerful rice tho). The turbos must pull in a lot of cold fresh air but i thnk that the same results could have been reached with a little ingenuity and sophistication
