Not really .. she was driving the family Corolla, but it encountered many challenges.

1st earlier this year .. it got caught up in a garage fire .. then a few months ago .. it had a nasty run in with a Honda Accord.

Wow, bad luck is an understatement.

There's whole lot of Vs here in the bay area, it's hard to throw a rock without hitting one.

Ohh .. and last year, this was BEFORE the fire and the encounter with the Honda ... the Corolla got "hit" .. by a bicyclist. The Corolla was parked .. my wife had opened the rear door and this bicyclist ran into the open'd door.

It wasn't a case where she opened the door and the cyclist was "there". The door was open .. the other cyclists manuvered around .. and still stayed in the bike lane. Except this one, who must of had her eyes closed .. because there was no attempt to slow down ..

After all that, I was asked if I wanted to buy the Corolla back and attempt to bring it back to life.

I told everyone, I couldn't bear to try to do that with the Corolla .. the car deserved better. Best to let it die in peace ..

LOL ...

same car for my daughter and same colour, but 2008. I have been driving it quite a bit, but once school starts again on Aug 25 I will pretty much lose driving privileges. I finally had to take my bike racks off the other day on "her" car.

Actually we went to the dealer looking for/intending to buy a 2008. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a 2009 model. Got it for less than other dealers wanted for similarly equipped 2008 models.

Schools about to start . .but I'll get driving privledges .. my daughter fractured her foot .. can't drive for a while. So I get to park my Armada and drive the Versa ..

I think I'd rather keep the Versa filled (gas) vs. the Armada .. even for a a couple of weeks .. !!!
