im ready to upgrade my suspension but im not exactly sure whats going to be the best way to go here. ive got an 89 240 which is my dd but will see the occasional track day. ride quality is not a real biggie as im by myself most of the time any way. ive got a budget of around 2200 to 2500 for all of it together. ive narrowed my choices for coilovers down to kts, stance gr+, megan street, or kbee. id like some feedback on this if you guys dont mind ive spent the entire week researching these 4 four and so far they seem to be the best suited to my needs and budget. i want to do this right the first time so im looking for personnal experiance from some of you guys that have been there done that. whichever way i go ill also be upgrading all the supporting hardware too(ruca, lca, etc.) and any input in that field would also be greatly appriciated. thanks in advance.

I've never ridden on KTS, but from everyone that has them, I've heard nothing but good reviews. SPL, if not the best, is really up there with their suspension products and customer service.

Kbees are awesome! For its price, you'd be surprised on how well valved the shocks are. Although, from what I hear, they're no longer available here in U.S. (unless you have your own personal connection). I mean, you can search around, but I tried, cuz I was trying to find a set for my homie that just picked up a project car. However, they do still sell them everyday at upgarage for about ~$750http://www.upgarage.com/upgara...d=016

Stance GR+ are awesome as well. But if I were you, I'd spend a couple hundred to get the GR+ pros that come with the helper springs... just for that added comfort. I remember their first line had issues with the pillowball bearing not rotating or something like that, but from what I heard they have fixed that problem. Also, iirc, they offer custom spring rates free of charge. and since you said this is your daily, a spring rate of 7/5 w/ helper springs will feel like butter on your asss. If you do go with Stance, just make sure you mention to the vendor the pillowball issue that stance once had to make sure you're not getting the older version (the one they should have recalled, lol).

Megans- I don't really like them. They have poor valving (or at least it isn't up to par). It may not be as bad as k-sports, but you can still feel the bounciness when hitting imperfections in the road (not to be confused with stiff, which a lot of people do). My cousin has them (megan streets). He bought them last year, and at the time, I had no input on them and there were barely any online reviews or articles on them. If you ask him, he seems to like them, and they still aren't that bad of a price, but compared to stance, kts, or kbee, you can really feel the difference in ride quality, and so can he.
