Just wondering what you guys think i should set my rev limiter at once ive completely broken my engine in. Im thinking 6800 RPMs, but think i could go up to 6900. Remember im all motor, 10.5:1 compression, freshly rebuilt, and have an adjustable fuel computer (HKS Super AFR), so any input would be great. Right now i have it limited at 6000 because i lost the other plug in pill modules that came with it, so i need to buy a pack.

I would run it no higher than 6800 with your current mods.Higher than that and you will come completely out of the power band of your motor, and not be making any power at all.

have you figured out how to get the pills to actually set RPM, I tried quite a bit back in the day with my Accel ignition settup and couldn't figure it out. The stock ECU kept overrideing what I was telling it to do.

But I'll stick with him, anything over 6800 is too much stress on the long stroke motor and really isn't going to give you any HP gains given the head design and intake manifold your working with.

well, the first thing you need to make sure of is that the imput from the timing signal to the ECU is correctly connected to the MDS or Accel box. The box itself has a grounded circuit that bypasses this going to the ECU.

If a wire was loose on your Accel system, this could have been the cause of your problem.
