Input on the 2016 q70
What do you guys think about the 2016 q70. I personally think the q50 is a better choice.

No way. Q50 is cheap inside compared to a properly appointed Q70. I'd never give my M56 up for a Q50 daily (or a 2011 G37 to match years). Ever. Not even close.

I agree with Ilya too -- loved my M45, and I really enjoy my M37.
Depends on what you want to drive: smaller, more sporty, but less luxo - Q50
more room, much nicer interior, but still sporty - Q70
there is a thread on the M37/56/Q70 forums where members debate Q50 vs Q70
might be tempted to trade for a Q50 Red Sport, though (twin turbo, 400 hp)!!!

I agree as well. The Q50 is not in the same class in any way as the Q70. It isn't meant to be. It's a lower level of interior comfort and quality, has harder plastics, cheaper trim, etc. It's a lower price point and all of this should be expected. One thing the Q50 DOES have going for it is that it uses the same engine as the base Q70 but it's attached to a lighter vehicle which makes it very peppy.
I'm not saying the Q50 is a "cheap" car meaning rubbish. I'm saying that you spend less and you get less. In my opinion, the Q50 is much better than it's competition including Lexus, but you can't compare the Q50 to the Q70 just as you can't compare the Honda Civic to the Honda Accord.
