Question: How does the use of various technologies benefit students and teachers in schools? (no grade range given)

Ready, set, go!

Thanks  (just need some ideas for the last couple of pages on this thing)

Not sure what "no grade range given" means...

But for me affordable shrinking tech allows me to bring a small net book to class and access my Gmail Calendar and post upcoming school events/projects there. Then the reminders come to my Android phone.

You can always shoot for this:

wow thats a difficult topic. ipads with ibooks, wireless tech., electronic projectors instead of those big old ones with the bulb that always went out.

Do dry erase boards instead of chalkboards count?

Sound to me like the essay is asking to concentrate on the benefits and not on the technologies themselves.
Start a list of the benefits that come from tech in the learning environment.. then elaborate on those benefits and incorporate the type of techs that bring about that benefit.

examples:
communication (speed, accuracy, clarity, organization, equal access)... Types: email, cell phone, chat rooms, IM,

information (ease and speed of finding info, incredible amount of info available, diverse opinions and perspectives available).. Types: internet, intranet, message boards, archives, online libraries)

productivity (word processing, mathematics, spreadsheets/databases, capture and sharing).. types: computers, laptops, tablets, calculators, software, scanners, fax, etc..

Social Media, or telecommunications devices allowing teachers to better interact with the student(s) outside of the classroom on a daily basis, also allowing the updates of assignments, potential class grades, and missing work the student may be able to make up.

I know I used to text message my teacher's whenever I had a problem getting to class, or was going to miss class.

This seems easy, these Kahn academy videos are the best. Check them out, they offer help all over the world to those who had difficult learning or don't even go to school.
Also, online quizzes and whatnot offers the student immediate feedback and grades, and the teacher doesn't have to grade them.

I'm gonna be the naysayer here and say that I think that there is too much technology. It's a distraction. Sometimes I wish they would go back to letting everyone have a textbook and teaching the kids all of the things that technology now does for them.
