Ok, after being raped on the price of aluminum intercooler pricing and silicone reducers, I only have $230 to spend on finishing up my turbo project. The only thing I have left to buy is the steel piping for my downpipe but i got a good friend with some scrap piping that he'll let me have for cheap. So, my question is this:

Does anyone have or has anyone used the LC-1 Wideband cable from Innovate Motorsports? Heres the website.http://www.innovatemotorsports...1.php

Should I drop the money on this? I have a laptop so it would be real easy to tune because it comes with everything i need to connect it to a computer. So, should I drop the $200 and change for it, save up another $100 for a Zeitronix Zt-2, or drop the $175 to have it tuned on the dyno?

i currently have a zeitronix and wish i had an innovate unit.

mainly because when drag racing at the track i go to you're not allowed to have laptops in your car while racing. and in order to datalog with the zeitronics you have to have the laptop hooked up and you have to hit a key to start logging.

its a pain in the *** since i have to hide the laptop on the floor.

i'd wait and save for the innovate

no, i can order the innovate. but i need a laptop with it. i don't plan to datalog very much and if i do, i seriously doubt it will be at the track.

its just that the innovate that i want to order requires a laptop...i think. i don't even know if that kit includes everything i need.

It's pretty nice. My friend has the innovate wideband that comes with the gauge instead of the control box thingy. He's had it for a few months and it's still holding up great and is accurate. You might also wanna look in the advertiser specials on here, I forget who it was was having a special deal on NGK widebands.

I have the Innoative and love it.I have the lc-` with xd-1 gauge. It's great. I'm getting in on the NGK wideband group buy. Can't beat the price for the wideband and gauge combo. Here's the link zerothread?id=152281

i say zeitronix only cause of its accuracy and its sample rate; i thought about getting the lc-1 but their forums discouraged me from getting it as there seemed to be alot of complaints and issues that people were having. plus, with the xd-1 gauge, u'll b over the price of the zeitronix. lc-1 by far is the cheapest wideband out there though as far as "wideband manufacturers" go.

I had abosultely no tech help from innoative. No1 there knew how to wire it.They knew how to wire just it.But not if I was going to use stock 02 sensor location and then fake the signal to my ecu.
