Hello, Nico Members and Infiniti Q45 Professionals.I am looking for any help that can be given to me.I will be changing out my !995 Q-45's front suspensionand shocks on all fours.

Can anyone please e-mail me a tutorial on the shocks, front suspension, and last but not least the rear brakes.

I already, know I will need the basics for tools. But, I want to really nail down the specifics for theseprojects.

Regards,

R. Arroyo via the Milwaukee, WI.

P.S. Please negate, driving Mom's car? Heck if I know how thathappened????????

Welcome to the club, Robert!

The "Driving Mom's Car" is just a little joke for newcomers ... it will go away to another item in a few posts (five as I recall!).

In regard to changing the shocks and brakes, it is done all the time by folks here and is considered something many people can do themselves. Some time back, I was going to do the same thing to my Q (that I then sold, so I did not) and asked for help. Please do a search for posts about this, and you will find out a lot of information.

Agian, welcome!

A plumber's monkey wrench makes the inner tie rods a lot easier, if they need replacing. Why are you replacing them?

It was recommended by of course by an infiniti dealer. My front play was loose, starting to drift, etc.

I drive 50,000 miles a year in the midwest for a sales career. So I prefer to keep my Q-45 tip-top shape.

I am starting this project today.

Robert Arroyo
