just a quick question.first of all lemme explain what happened today.i went to an alignment shop today to check on my alignment to see if everything were still within specs.car was pulled out shortly after about 15 minutes and the tech explained to me that they couldnt do an alignment check b cuz my front left inner socket joint was broken?he started showing me using his two fists together in a sorta twisting motion and explains to me that thats how it normally works but with mine he showed me using one fist with a twisting motion and the other banging against it and said that thats whats happening with mines.now question is,the front inner left socket joint,is that the same as a tie rod end?thats the only thing i could come up with since i been trying to look at different pics of a "socket".can anyone tell me jus to clarify before i get another opinion from a different alignment shop?TIA!

he could be talking about your ball joint for the control arm. Hard to say exactly with out knowing which joint he was reffering to.

yes i know its kind of hard to say what joint hes talking about.but he showed me a picture pointing to somewhere around the power steering rack at least thats what i thought if i remember him saying correctly since it was a long line connecting the two ends together between both wheels.thanks for your opinion though,im gonna see about having a different alignment shop look at it and see what they say and ill let you know
