I have been searching for 2 days now and finally joined to try to figure out this problem. Im trying to lower the front of my 89 240sx coupe but i ran into some trouble with contacting the inner fender when i turn the wheel. I have seen plenty of s13's lower than mine on this site but can't figure out what to do. did you just bash the inner fender with a hammer or cut it out and replace it with a trailor fender. I have a gap of about an inch from the top of the tire to the fender so i don't belive this is all that low. Just to clarify i'm talking about the metal inner fender at the front of the car where it dips down for the battery. any input would be much appreciated

We need more info... What is the diameter, width & offset of your wheel. And what are you tire sizes?

your tires are too tall, get 225/35

also get a sledge hammer and smash it where it rubs

I used a plasma cutter and cut the bump out, problem fixed. My new question, has anyone removed that weird pinch weld looking seam at the top of the inner fender. I was looking at it today and was wondering if i could cut it out and re-weld it without losing the structural integrity of the front end.
