NO!

Wont work, dont even try. you'd have to put more effort into it to make it work properly than youwould just putting in a new OEM one.

Besides the OEM one will feed up to like 600HP or something, so unless you're gonna be running mad boost i think its supply should be sufficient.

Those fuel pumps (the one you have) are probably used when converting a carb'd car to fuel injection. It feeds the fuel rail while still keeping the old style fuel tank.

For a return regulator system to properly maintain pressure and feed the injector volume the pump must be able to supply TWICE the needed flow or a pump to have longevity the pump needs ANOTHER TWICE the total capacity.

A 300 HP engine needs 150 pounds per hour or 24 gallons per hour of gasoline flow.................that's 90 liters per hour and oem Q pump is 255 liters per hour.

However to protect and cool the engine the ecu sends 20% more fuel that the minimum required to make the HP.

108/255=~ 42% of peak capacity used at WOT HP peak rpm.

As pumps age and wear they slow down so the [58%] reserve is eaten into.

The reason the Q has a 3 speed pump is too decrease the flow at idle and cruise when all this extra capqacity is unused..............less wear on pump and less heating on gasoline passing thru engine compartment, less noise, more reliability.

It may end up being around $250 because apparently the site isnt right on some things, so its best to call as always. I like calling to get the best service and let them know you're from NICO.

I like chatting with Joe because it reinforces in my mind that there are some car parts places that give a damn. Not too many, though. You'd think that the auto parts store would be one of my favorite places, but its most definitely not.
