Just to be sure i read correctly, the INJET attachment will give you better sound rolling, more hoursepower and fuel savings? Any who have installed this product after the initial breakin, please advise of your experiences. Before breakin, your fuel milage would be lower and increase after the breakin, skewing the results. I was wonderig how loud, since i don't want to attract the man or upset the old lady, LOL

Do you mean Injen? You can find videos of it online and determine how it sounds.

the sound is awesome! I can't recommend it enough. if you have 6MT you will notice it (barely) as soon as you hit the 2200rpms. at 3krpms its refreshing sound is noticeable. at 4krpms its like a godlike roar and at 5k+ rpms ITS CRRRRAZZZYYY!!!

the fuel consumptions has been better for me when I drive it as I did before the intake, but be warned that the intake will make you want to switch gears at higher rpms just to hear the sound all the time and that will increase your fuel consumption

I don't know about the CVT since I don't have that and I don't know where it has its rpms when cruising along.

40 @ about 1,100rpm, 60 @ about 1,800 rpm. Also dcg129, I do not have the part (if you are indeed talking about the Injen ) but from what I have read, you won't have to worry about attracting or upsetting anybody with the extra noise.

Yes its definatley worth the money. Good sound and a little better mileage. Ive had mine for about 2500 miles. I get 27 mpg cruising at 75 and around 19 mpg around town. I can't keep my foot off the pedal around town

If I am able to change my own oil and air filter, would I be able to install this myself?

Absolutley. 45 min tops for the install. just be careful with the seal around the MAF. When you screw it in use the same method you do with torqueing lug nuts.
