From what I know... I think its mostly about sound. It might give you some gains, but probably too little to feel. There is, however, a better throttle response, ultimately making the car seem faster (along with the sound of course). The injen does sound great tho. Good Luck

will i have better fuel eff? -Yes. However, when I installed mine, I got a much better engine sound, so I tended to hit the pedal harder so I could hear it, thus losing MPG

can intake alone give me a boost or it is nothing without the exhaust?- Yes, it can give you a boost. (See next answer) However, you do of course notice a better 'boost' when an exhaust is added, headers, etc.

will i have more HP? (I surfed around the forum but it seems like people have different opinions)- yes, you will. HP gain varies from car to car and intake to intake. More than likely, you can find the HP gain for your vehicle when you order the product. If this information is not available to you, contact whomever you are ordering from (I hope Stillen!). They can provide you with the exact numbers.

The purpose of the intake is not sound. The purpose of it is to allow your car to "breathe" easier. Right now, there is an intake on you car, but it is restricted because it is outlet into an air box, allowing no air movement into your engine. By removing the air box and replacing the stock intake with an Injen, you will increase the air flow being forced into your engine - much healthier for the engine, as long as you upkeep with the filter maintenance (change every 30,000 miles is recommended by most). I, for one, have a water shield from Injen over the filter to help prevent further dirt and water from entering the intake. You can purcahse one of these at Injen.com for about $40.

this question is not about intake but one of the nissan worker told me that it is good to join altima coupe campaign.. does anyone know what this is?- No, I don't know what this is, and I don't even drive a coupe - sorry

Hope that helps. Need anything else, just holler
