Hey all,

Today is my 4th day w/ the intake and I am hearing it at 3200+ RPM. werd! It sounds good. It is not a drastic change, but it is noticeable. Here are potential reasons why I think it took a few days to break in, even though theoretically the air sensor whatever should adjust instantaneously:

- I do 95% city driving. Last night actually happened to be my first time on the highway (for 10+ miles) in a while, and voila, today the intake is kicking in.

- I don't push the pedal hard consistently, rather drive at normal accelerations in the city. Started stepping on the pedal a little harder to get the engine acclimated to the higher RPMs.

- anddddd.. I have a bad habit (or is it a good habit) of 'coasting'. aka, see a red light 50 feet away, then shift into neutral, and the car coasts to the light w/o using any gas. I do this way too often and I think it has made the CPU in my car be ... ahh... not as sporty as it could be... It has a lot of 0 RPM's registered. Do you think that might have affected anything?

Again, I hear some change, and it sounds good. For a consistent g35 sound though I am positive a new exhaust would be necessary.

l8rz!
