Injen Intake Extension problems

i just recently went to enjuku and bought an extension for my injen short ram intake. Here is the problem... i cant get the s.o.b. to line up correctly! i have a 95 nissan 240sx SE ka engine and it is being a pain trying to get it lined up with where the old box used to be. Also where is the cone supposed to go, i have it facing front which makes it wedged against the bumper a little below and next to the fog light. maybe i have it on wrong, but it is the only way i could figure it out. i have the curvey part coming from where the air intake temp sensor part is down to the hole and the single curved part under the car from the hole down to by the fog... is this wrong.. if not why is it not fitting correctly..... its not lining up with the maf connection that came with the original. i checked the packaging, and it is the correct application.

Yea it fit's like crap. I have the same kit on my car *came with it* and I decided against even using the extension to put the filter down behind the foglight because it's such a sh*tty fit.

I have the filter right on the outside of the maf resting on the relay box and the extension in my garage
