I thought I just read that on another post... Well, that it can work, after some 'changes' are made by the person installing.

kinda hoping it's not true, because I just ordered the part and not sure if my mechanic would know what 'changes' to make to the intake.

anyhow, aren't the majority of intake buyers driving manuals???

The Injen intake will work on both the CVT and manual transmissions.

It'll work. It's a very simple install; you should give it a try yourself. Shouldn't take more than 20-30 minutes. All you would need is a ratchet set, flat-head screwdriver, and you're good to go.

Intake works fine on the 6MT. I installed mine in 30 mins.

Your getting it mixed up with the 2.5 that is having install troubles. The Injen does not fit the 2.5 with the MT.

Good thing I have CVT. Don't know if I'll be installing one though.

I def think you should; it's well worth it just for the sound if anything.

I agree. If I had the time or money, I'd seriously consider it. Right now, I'm just focused on getting HIDs to improve nighttime visibility.
