Just got my intake,,, weeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaa yay.

First thing I notice on the front page of the Injen manual/instruction guide is that 'removal of the front bumper does require mechanical skills... blah blah blah". But then on the actual beginning of the step-by-step instructions, it doesn't say anything about removing the bumper.

This is a top-down (from the engine point-of-view) install, right? Just want to make sure...!

& I bought the SP Short Ram Intake, hopefully it's the right model,,, says it works for `08 a/c v6.

thx

Its a short ram, no bumper removal required.

just a word to the wise to make you install much smoother.

Connect your heat shield/filter combo onto your intake before placing it in your engine compartment (which is different from that thread & the instructions). this will offer you much more leverage when forcing the filter around the tube it will lessen your chances of scratching your shiny polished intake.if you speak with the fella's at injen they will tell you to do the same thing

Cool, thx. Must just be a standard disclaimer thing Injen puts on the front page of all its product install guides.
