Injen Cold Air Intake

Anyone had any problems with their cold air intake in their Z33? Power loss? Water? etc.. Was given a used Injen CAI from a buddy of mine and wanted to get yalls opinions before installing it! Already searched the forum for this info but really couldn't find any helpful info..thanks in advance

I have the injen cai in my 08 z33, I gained power and it is going great. No water issues, and there great intakes.

Thanks for the reply, they look great! Hopefully will be installing mine on my 03 this weekend!

I live in a very.."Moist" state so but I have yet to have any water problems with my injen. It's a great intake, I recommend buying a hydroshield for the filter to help repel any unwanted water.

That's good to hear. And I plan on ordering a hydroshield sometime this week!

No problem, I live in colorado and its almost always some kind of wet/moist here. I've never had a problem. Have fun installing it and then driving your z![/quote]

The hydroshield is not a bad idea for random splashes, etc, but let's be honest - if you're deep enough in water to risk a partially submerged filter/hydrolock... you're doing it wrong.

Those filters sit plenty high enough like the Stillen Gen 3s in the 370. I think they should totally be fine. They look sharp! I'm considering Injen on my 370.

Exactly. I ordered a hydroshield off amazon for mine it should be in tomorrow actually. Hey it was only $20 so what the hell, it will definitely give me peace of mind.
