I realize that people may have already posted about the Injen cold air intake, but I did not seem to find it when I did a search...

That said, Stillen's website is having a sale on the Injen intakes for $471 and the Stillen long intakes are $421. Is there enough of an advantage to justify $50 for the Injen intakes or should I get the Stillen intakes instead? And is 400-450 a reasonable price for intakes or is there a better place to buy intakes (or is another intake system better - I read the thread about the Fujita intakes).

Help would be appreciated! Thanks!

If you had the single throttle engine, then $450 for an intake is ridiculous (in my mind), but your car has dual throttles and therefore dual intakes.

As such, each would cost $225 on it's own. Not sure if that makes you feel any better.

I can't speak from experience, just my impressions. IMO, the stock intake was designed very well with a slight ram air effect when at 60-65 mph. I won't say that the design might not have a few areas that could be improved on, but intakes make more noise than power.

Maybe one of the guys here with the dual intake setup has dynoed and will let you know what to expect.

I have heard only good things about the fujita dual intake system. We have a member with an 07 beating 350z at the track for fun... he has the dual intake.

I have the Fujita F5 Competition intake finished in black, it is very well designed with it's long big tubing, and lightweight design. I noted my mpg went down, but I've driven it like Andretti since.

Thanks for the responses! I currently have K&N air filters and by the looks of it I might just keep them and spend my money on other mods. I don't doubt the boosts by the intakes but I'd rather have a less noisy ride & save some dough. (I also dont push the car very hard - still only 1500 miles on it)
