I honestly don't think there will be a CAI for the new Altima's. It's just too cramped in the engine bay and if there was going to be one, you'd probably have to relocate the battery or do some type of mod to fit it in there.
Does the INJEN work? You bet it does! First off, I noticed a big difference in throttle response; how it translates to HP, I do not know. But, there is a noticeable difference in the throttle and how quickly you jump RPM's over stock. According to my butt dyno, it has increased power over stock.
Secondly, I really love the sound of the motor now. When I first installed it, it sounded great. After logging over 600 miles since and perhaps breaking it in, it sounds simply awesome!! It basically sounds like the G35/350Z, and that's not an exageration. That alone was worth the money to me.
And lastly, it makes the engine bay "bling" I think it adds another dimension to the oh so plain looking motor. With an addition of a Nismo Oil Cap and Radiator Cap and maybe a battery tie-down, it should make the engine compartment shine nicely.
That's just my take on everything. If I could go back and do it again, would I? Most definitely. I'd even pay more than the $271 I did for it, seriously.
