So ive been looking at CAI for the coupe and like Generic have decided onthe INJEN. I just have one concern, after looking at the injen CAI and being told that it was a WAI ive done a bit of research. If you search WAI on google you will get a bunch of people making WAI to SAVE FUEL ie Reducde horsepower. That scares me. I dont want to spend 300$ on a WAI and then have a CAI come out and change..

What are your suggestions? Does the INJEN really work? Will the NISMO CAI actually be a CAI?

I honestly don't think there will be a CAI for the new Altima's. It's just too cramped in the engine bay and if there was going to be one, you'd probably have to relocate the battery or do some type of mod to fit it in there.

Does the INJEN work? You bet it does! First off, I noticed a big difference in throttle response; how it translates to HP, I do not know. But, there is a noticeable difference in the throttle and how quickly you jump RPM's over stock. According to my butt dyno, it has increased power over stock.

Secondly, I really love the sound of the motor now. When I first installed it, it sounded great. After logging over 600 miles since and perhaps breaking it in, it sounds simply awesome!! It basically sounds like the G35/350Z, and that's not an exageration. That alone was worth the money to me.

And lastly, it makes the engine bay "bling" I think it adds another dimension to the oh so plain looking motor. With an addition of a Nismo Oil Cap and Radiator Cap and maybe a battery tie-down, it should make the engine compartment shine nicely.

That's just my take on everything. If I could go back and do it again, would I? Most definitely. I'd even pay more than the $271 I did for it, seriously.

Supposedly shipped on Friday. I'm still waiting to get the tracking number. If I don't have it by tomorrow morning I'll give them a ring.

Like I said I don't mind waiting for the black, I'm in no rush. I am a little anxious though
