Installed an injen CAI on my Q70 today. The intake is listed for a G37 Sedan. It bolted up easily. Took off the front bumper so everything was easily accessible. The windshield washer fluid bottle was easy to bolt in as well. There are 2 L brackets. A long & short. The short would not line up. The longer of the 2 secured the bottle just fine. It didn't shake so I'm not worried about rattling. Got the bumper bolted back up. Placed the black plastic back underneath to protect the undercarriage. There are holes already there near the filter. I drilled out an extra hole matching the one's that are already there on each side so the filter could get a bit more air. Tried to start her up. Starts then dies. Well. One MAF was installed backwards. Damn these things are sensitive. Straighten out the MAF. She started right up. You can hear the intake a bit more. But nothing obnoxious. I wasn't able to push the car. SOTP feel. Weather sucked. Raining in my area. No desire to fishtail and crash my rig. Yes i took pictures. No I can't figure out how to install them here. Saw imgur and felt overwhelmed. LOL. Small brain gets easily over loaded.

Forgot to mention to anyone who may face more smog scrutinization such as CA. The CAI comes with a CARB # stamped on it.

I got the kinetix HFC's installed too. They were pretty straightforward. Remove two lower bolts from below. Remove upper bolt from above with a long extension. One out of the 6 from up top stripped. So had to remove it. But the cats come with new bolts. But Beachbum mentioned and I agree with him. If you can keep the original studs in. It's easier. The bolts to the Y were simple. O2 sensors came out ok too. But threw some WD40 on them as they were initially seized. The exhaust note changed again. Slightly louder. Nothing obnoxious. Here a tad bit more exhaust note in the cabin at lower speeds. But once rpm's rise. Goes away.

Hope anyone with Imgur is able to open the link above for the pictures taken

Posted pictures of my diesel truck on Imgur too. OMG I never realized how many trolls look at these pictures. Lifted truck. I must be compensating. Can't be about building something nice. Sorry all. Just venting.
