yeah, take pictures, if you can, take video or sound recording of what it sounds like outside the car (tapped throttle), and sound while driving. A before and after of driving sound inside the car would be great

Wow that came fast!

I ordered a black one. It will take a little while longer but I don't mind waiting.

Injen already has a fantastic write up on the install of this product so don't kill yourself making anything of the sort. A couple pics and a video will suffice Have fun.

SHIFT_COUPE, you have to wait a little longer because you get free shipping, probably via UPS GROUND. I had to pay for 2nd day air because of my location. And yeah, the directions that came with the intake are pretty detailed. I just saw it this morning so I guess I won't have to do a step-by-step. Anyone who orders it will have the instructions. Can't wait 'til tomorrow!!

Please, call me Tyler

I canceled my order with Cardomain whom I initially placed the order with. They had a 3 week backorder just for the black one. Seeing that I would still rather have black and not wait, I called Stillen and they price matched. Theirs are due in any day.

Tyler, that sucks!! Why did you want the black and not the polished? I just figured since I'm spending so much for a WAI, it better at least make my engine bay "bling" a little I have the JWT popcharger on my truck and it's just a simple throttle body adapter and cone filter. I wish there was one like that for our cars because it only cost me $140. The INJEN is a WAI so it's basically the same thing, but costs double that

I'm definitly with Tyler on this, If i do get one (not for awhile) i'm sure i'll get the black painted as well. I had polished sway bars and other parts under the hood of my civic, and they just because corroded after time, but the red painted AEM CAI never showed any age.

It would be really cool if a manufacturer produced a WAI/CAI with the option to buy it the color of the car. Would be cool to have the a/c color options for the intake. I know it can always be painted, but it would probably cost as much as the intake does!

Yep, I wanted black just because it will match my car and it wont discolor over time. Figured black would look nice under the hood with the other black items. Guess I just don't want it to stand out as much. But how often are you going to have the hood open to do so anyway

I also ordered the black Injen (3.5) from cardomain last Thursday with two day delivery. Is it back ordered?? I haven’t received an email saying that it was. If it is I’ll probably cancel and order from Stillen.

Okay folks, I know a bunch of you are waiting for the update. Just to let you know, I'm running on Hawaii time. We're 3 hours back of Pacific and 6 hours back from Eastern time. I just woke up a little while ago and I'm going to head out to the gym. I should start my install around 3-4ish Hawaii time. So for those of you on the eastcoast, sorry Those on the west, check back later tonight and I'll have the update posted. Cheers!
