after my mafs started smoking (long story .. http://www.ka-t.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5401) i have finally narrowed it down to that my injectors arent opening, because i took the fuel line off and had another person hold it while i cranked it over for a split second and gas poured out.so i took off the injectors and fuel popped out with the injectors so i know the fuel is getting into the fuel rail.next i took out all of the spark plugs and poured a tiny bit of gas in each cylinder, and walaaa it started right up for 2 seconds and died. so my conclusion is that the injectors are not opening.whats funny is that the wiring for the MAFS and the wiring that goes into the fuel rail are bound together by the same tape from the factory.im still not sure what to do about the injectors not opening though, please help.-tim

get replacement injectors or get them cleaned.

You can get them serviced @ http://www.witchhunter.com or http://www.rcengineering.com

I would check the wiring for the fuel injector harness. Opening and closing of the injector is controlled with the ground by the ecu. Also the car reving to 2K sounds like a MAF problem. Is the ECU tuned for a Z32 maf for sure. This fuel cut or ignition cut may stem for the MAF but I'm not sure.

Might want to give the injectors a direct 12 volt from the battery by using speaker wire to see if they click. Jump them like this a couple of times and then try again. If they don't click at all, you know you need new injectors as opposed to checking your wiring.
