ok so a couple months ago my car started to misfire and i found out that 4 of the injectors went bad. so i went to z1motorsports.com and bought reconditioned injectors for my 91 tt because money is tight. now the 2 that i never changed have gone bad. should i expect for those reconditioned ones to go bad soon and just save up so i can buy all new ones or what should i do? it has the early style injectors.

you can search for injectors, and also on tt.net for a lot more information.

there's also a thread right next to you regarding injectors ---- need-to-replace-injectors-t519441.html.

go with later-style injectors, maybe nismo740cc's for reliability.

im also curious about if i should just continue to just put refurbished injuectors in or should i save to spend $1000 on new style ones. if i save, i would have to continue driving my zx with the misfire because it is now my dd because i had to sell my other car. is it worth saving up?

new injectors, please, or find someone who's selling a used set of nismo740cc's, etc.

^Agreed. I bought a 300 deg fuel rail, Nismo 740cc injectors, and the stainless braided kit for the rails for $1000 shipped. It had only been in the car for a month and the guy decided to go top feed. But, you also need an ECU when you upgrade the injectors...

As for driving with a misfire, find a couple of used ones to hold you over. Yes, you may be swapping injectors until you get enough cash to fix it properly.

ya the previous owner socketed the ecu so it can run 15psi. I just ordered 2 injectors for like 100 bucks and hopefully it will hold me off until summer. thanks for the help
