As my previous thread state, I'll be swapping in DSM 450cc injectors soon.I've been told that all I need is the CA O-rings, and the wires plug right in.Will I need to take apart part of the intake manifold in order to take off the fuel rail, or is there an easier way? will I need to replace any gaskets?I've noticed that I'm having the same problem as a few other people, and 2 things are in common: Walbro pump & Z32 MAF. My car is running really lean on the throttle, even though I've richend the gas via SAFC II.The Injectors can't handle this setup. Thanks!

You should always be in the negatives with the SAFC.

Yeah, as soon as I install the larger injectors I will be able to lean the gas out more. But at the moment, the MAF is putting alot more air in than the injectors can handle. My A/F gauge goes lean off the charts! Can you help me with my question? Appriciated.

i used the CA o-rings for there the injectors go into the manifold. where it goes into the fuel rail i just lubed them up with dish soap and they popped right in. you should be able to get the rail off without too much trouble, youll just need to undo the breathers and the wiring harness. i cant remember, but there might be some bolts under the maifold (between the runners) holding the rail on. if so just make sure you have a really long socket extension/screwdriver (depending on the occasion).

ive no idea what my air/fuel ratios are but i am running damn near no correction with my evo 3 510s and a z32 maf. it still doesnt run right. youll def. need to be in the negatives though, unless you have an aftermarket turbo. also, it should only be leaner at idle right? the turbo should still suck the same amount of air when on boost. at least i think....

Yeah, I'm running an S14 T28/25 turbo. It doesn't read lean at idle b/c I'm not sucking any air in through the Z32 MAF. Thanks!
