i was installing my fuel rail on to my new godspeed manifold, i looked inside the manifold and the injectors were cramped up against the side of the manifold. i didnt know if this was a big issue, or no issue at all. i didnt think it would affect the spray pattern but when i asked around i was told it would affect the spray pattern, and it could cause the cylinders to run lean, and if too bad, it could eventually do harm to the engine. (i was warned about knock off s*** but didnt listen  )

after talking to someone else, i was told don't worry about, it will not effect anything. so which is it? heres the pics

heres how they sit in the polished manifold

Are the pictures taken of the runners done with the rail bolted down?

yes the rail is bolted tight, i removed and reinstalled multiply times, but theres not much room for error just bolting it down

The cheapest intake manifold i would go with is the ISIS, its got the best reviews. I personally bought greddy but if you need to go with a knock off get the ISIS.

ISIS is awesome. Only problem is IACV fitment.. (Nothing a drill to one of the bolt holes on IACV can't fix..)

im done with going the cheap route now, i had my experience. i didn't have enuf room in my budget for what i wanted, and didnt wanna end up with half the parts for my build and run outta money.

i had a problem with the IACV too, 3 bolts lines up fine, but the 4th was off just a c*** hair. i can get the 4th started but they are real tight going in, it DOES sit tight against the manifold. i wonder if it will be alight or if i Should i still drill & re-thread?

Just widen the hole on the IACV... Use a drill bit just a TAD bigger... This is what I did.

I had a block off plate made for my IACV spot anyways. So if i would have goten the isis that wouldn't have been a problem. This is the first i heard about that IACV problem. I typically hear about the fuel rail holes not lining up.

They fixed the fuel rail issue... The IACV issue followed... Have you driven your car without the IACV yet? Last one I was in without an IACV jumped around with a fluctuation of ~500 rpms... Sounded ridiculous..
