Affordable parts and Q45 really don't go together.

We really need a maintenance history to help you out here. If the KS are indeed bad, and you have never had the plenum off, you will probably need $600 -$800 worth of parts at the minimum. If that is a concern to you, it might be time to look elsewhere because I am betting there is a ton of deferred maintenance.

Let's start with the timing chain guides?

I just got a new oem knock sensor for $15 shipped off of ebay. You can buy them all day long for $39 shipped. Nissan used the same # on most of the cars. Gasket sets are available from partsgeek.com. All the hoses are vacuum so it's easy to match them up if they are leaking otherwise don't take the manifold off, it's a b**** to do. Check the relay for the wipers and the fuses before you take the car apart. Gas line is easy except for the one going to the fuel rails at the rear. Coil packs seldom go bad, check your plugs first. Since the "92 doesn't have a diagnostic plug I bet the chumps that told you all that crap don't no any more than you do about it. I got a factory repair manual on cd from ebay and it shows everything on the car. The hard copy is 1300 pages.

The '94 should be close enough for a lot of stuff. We should be updating with some of the older ones soon, so keep an eye out...
