#1 isnt firing. injector is working (can hear it clicking via screwdriver+ear) i beleive it is stuck open?? plug is saturated with fuel. btw i put 1/3 of can of seafoam in my 1/8th tank of fuel. i know it says your supposed to use a full tank and a full can. but now its billowing out whitish smoke that reeks like gas. im so ****ing sick of these ****ing injectors guys you have no idea. and when you remove them its almost impossible not to break them, at least mine are cuz THEY DONT WANT TO COME OUT. GAAARRRR

ok i replaced the injector and found the o ring was bad. ok my prob now is my car is still smoking pretty bad (white) i dont know if this is remnants of the seafoam, i put some in the gas and brake booster. but the smoke is white and smells like oil. i noticed the inside of my muffler looks all oil stained. any ideas??

Glad you fixed the injector problem, I had an issue with my #1 a couple months back too... it sucked. Don't know about the seafoam thingy though, never used any of that before. GL bro, I keep my eyes open for any similar conditions and remedies.

Did you check the spark? Touch the end of the wire to any bolt on the valve cover and make sure it archs.

How long has it been smoking and what does adding seafoam to the brake booster have to do with the #1 cylinder not firing? Or maybe you had another reason and can clarify that. Seafoam is some very good stuff but also quite expensive.

Also check the distributor cap and rotor if you haven't already done so.

Can't tell you why your stuff smells like oil, INTERESTING??Maybe that is what seafoam smells like when it burns through the system.

I know I tried cleaning out my cylinders by pouring an ounce of seafoam into each one and boy did it smoke white, but it cleared out eventually.Good Luck with everything! Peeeaaace

the white smoke is probobly from the seafoam, either from the seafoam itself or from the carbon it is burning off from the inside of the engine. fill your tank back up and drive for a little while, it should be fine

ok this is whats up to datesymptoms1) still white smoke2)car runs fine3) little white smoke from engine bay around ex manifold area4) no coolant loss5) no o rings leaks, taht i can see or smell

btw can seafoam in the fuel make it smoke white?? plus im sure theres still remnants of it in the brake booster etc. im hoping its just the seafoam burning off but ive had the car idleing in my drive for about half hour total and still the smoke, if its not that im stumped.

ok think i got it figured out. it seemed to just be the seafoam getting out of the system. i filled her up and took a drive (fogged for mosquitoes) and now everything is fine (knock on wood) thanks guys

That just answered my next question, if you had run some straight fuel though the system yet. Glad you figured it out quickly!
