I pulled 5 injectors....2 of which read 11 ohms....3 read 10.8. I replaced my #1 and #4 with the two that read 11 ohms. Started it, let it idle, and took it for a 5 mile drive...got on it a few times. Runs good. Didn't miss. Fingers crossed...
I'll be fine with the Lucas or the low idle?numbnuts240 wrote:you'll be fine.
Alright sweet. I wanted to run some through just to make sure they're flowing right.numbnuts240 wrote:the lucas.
KA injectors are supposed to read right around 11 ohms to my understanding. If your injectors are reading 7 and 1.5 then I would just replace all the injectors. Mine are firing just fine now and read 11, 10.9, 10.7, and 11. It feels a bit underpowered and the valves tick pretty bad. I looked in my new Chilton (aka..Bible) and it says that the rocker clearance should be checked every 15k miles and if they are too far out of spec they will tick and won't open all the way due to the cam wasting some lift just to touch the valve. My valve cover is a tad drippy so I'm going speck out the head in the next few days and put a new gasket on.bonestock240sx wrote:were you able to get your car fixed? my number two cylinder is running lean cus the spark plug is white and the injector reads about 7 ohms. and 1,3,4 read right about 1.5 ohms. so you think that just replacing the 7 ohm injector will fix the shakes.
hahaha yeah i was about to say... chiltons is weak... and i yeah i read the Ohm meter wrong cus it was cold i couldnt see the decimal... all the injectors are 11 across. and the 2nd cylinder injector is... drum rollll....heartofaskyline wrote:lol. i have the real bible if you need to borrow it oem service manuel ftw!
