My car ran fine no gas leaks or anything. I then boost leak tested the system fixed all my leaks and then went to start the car and my #4 injector is pissing out gas from the o-ring that seals it to the fuel rail. I can gently pry on the injector moving it up and down but it still will not seal.

How the hell did compressed air do this?

Any tips/tricks to making it seal without removing the whole fuel rail again?

Can i remove the fuel rail without taking off the upper manifold?

Note: i am to scared to pry with force on the injector up in to the fuel rail. Is it worth a shot? Not reccomended? What could i break?

I know its alot of questions but I hope i can just pop it into place. Thanks in advance guys.

1. get some new injector o-rings2. detach the fuel lines (no smoking during this part)3. remove the fuel rail (don't miss the 14mm nut on back of manifold). - this takes some patience, but it can be done without complete removal.4. jiggle injectors out of fuel rail (again no smoking)5. replace o-rings. (dude these things rarely leak)6. put fuel rail back on - don't mix up input/return lines when reconnecting fuel lines.

Good to hear. Most injector people will tell you to replace o-rings and rubber seals every time you service your injectors.

If they still look alright, I've certainly not had any issues reusing them. Although my experience is restricted to less than 10 operations.

You must not have moistened the injectors prior to install. A tiny spray of WD40 seems to work well.
