release pressure, remove rail and injectors. put new seals on all of them and put some oil on the seals. make sure you put them in straight or it will leak fuel since it will tear the seals. i just replaced mine with bosch oem and they are working great

not hard, dont have to be perfectly straight, but if you dont remove the fuel rail, then it will be hard not to tear the o rings. the worst thing you could do is mess up the o rings. then you just buy a new seal kit at napa $5 per set(x4)im sure you will be able to do it just fine. o, and label the injector harneses with masking tape and a sharpie before removing them (very important) and after your done, dont start the car, turn it to on, all the lights turn on ect. then off then on again, this way the fuel pump will pressurize the system and you can spot a leak before cranking.if your confused, just ask

you do not need to remove the rail on your DOHC engine the rail can stay in and the injectors can be removed individually. remove the 2 screws holding the cap over the injector. remove the cap. on either side of the injector you will see an oblong hole. a pair of needle nose hose pliers works well on remoiving these injectors. put the tips in the holes on either side gently squeeze the pliers to keep the tips firmly inside the injector holes. [warning during this process do not apply to much force or you will shatter the plastic on the top of the injector therefore making it a real pain to get it out. This job takes some finess not man handling] once you have the ips in the injector use a slight twisting motion back and forth while pulling up on it. your goal is not to rotate the injector neccesarily but to just break the bond the upper seal has with the rail. when you reinstall the injector use some lubracant to asist the insertion, rust penetrant works well. I recommend you just replace the seals they are not that much and it will give you a bit of security that it will seal.

You DO have to remove the fuel rail on the SOHC right?

Thanx for the confirmation 240kid. It was too cold here today to do it but I wanted to make sure first.
