I replace the injectrs on my 1990 240SX, KA-24, and tried seating them no pop or anything like that they just sat right in the holes. When I removed them there was no hassle tugging on the rack or any of the pain that I have read on here. (only head ache was droping the bolts) I lube the injectors up good as suiggested here, stuck them in and hooked up fuel rail and bolted down. Turned on vehicle and had no leaks, reaved up and test drove with no leaks and better responce as I expected. Will these not being "seated" have an effect or are they seated and I just don't know it?

As long as you replaced all the necessary rings & insulators, you are fine. And from the way you described everything, you seem to be a-okay. Just because 80% of people have a similar problem when replacing them, doesn't mean everyone has to have that problem . "Seated" is a relative term.

When the injectors are in position should they be able to move (rotate) or are they supose to be stationary (non-moveable)?

From what I remember, they shouldn't be movable in position. They should stay where they are once everything is bolted back up.

Did you replace w/ OEM injectors? replace all the insulators & o-rings?

They were the original red top type, replaceed all O-rings and seal lubed up good. Total time including run to parts store for new fuel line and thelost bolt I dropped about 2 hours. Easier that I thought.
