For some strange reason, I am having trouble getting these 370cc injectors OUT of my stock ka fuel rail.... I managed to get one off with my fingers, all I did was start to turn it constantly and noticed that it was backing out by itself, so that one popped out fine. Its just the other 3 wont back out... I can turn them back and forth, but they wont budge out.. I tried using a needle nose pliers and another set of pliers that I have to try and pry them out, but that isnt working cause the other plastic harness piece started to crack so i gave up..

Any hints..??

Try applying some pressure to the bottom while you work them out from the top. Just be patient, especially if you want to keep/sell the old ones.

Thats what my last resort was, BUT, under the injector there are 4 little plastic prongs that bend into the injector itself that im worried about damaging.. Unless someone here can attest to it that doing that way will not harm the injector bottom side..

man i know exactly what you are going thru right now, in the past two months ive changed maybe 8 of them. i just twisted wiggled them up as far as i could, then used a screwdriver to pry them up a bit, and finally yanked it out using vice grips. it wasnt pretty, its so hard to get them out w/o breaking them.

Well, guys some other forum replied to me and showed me a trick to use when pulling these little bas-turds out.

On top of the injector, there is that plate with the 2 screws. Once that upper cover/plate is off, take one screw and thread it back into one of the holes about half way down. Then take a flat head screw driver and put it into the side of the injector that has a slot just big enough for the flat head to go thru and use the screw itself as a pivot and pull up on the injector and VIOLA....... the injector popped out..... with ease !!!
